You look at me and call me oppressed,
Simply because of the way I’m dressed,
You know me not for what’s inside,
You judge the clothing I wear with pride
My body’s not for your eyes to hold,
You must speak to my mind,
Not my feminine mold,
I’m an individual,
I’m no mans slave,
It’s Allahs pleasure that I only crave
I have a voice so I will be heard,
For in my heart I carry His word,
“O ye women,
Wrap close your cloak,
So you won’t be bothered by ignorant folk
Man doesn’t tell me to dress this way,
It’s a Law from God that I obey,
Oppressed is something I’m truly NOT,
For liberation is what I’ve got
It was given to me many years ago,
With the right to prosper,
The right to grow
I can climb moutains or cross the seas,
Expand my mind in all degrees
For God Himself gave us LIB-ER-TY
When He sent Islam,
To You and Me…
Eye Of The Storm
A wise sea captain caught in a tropical storm knows that if he holds his vessel on
The periphery it will get hurled from one side to the other.
If he can reach the eye of the storm, he will enter a place of stillness.
The storm will then subside and the ship can continue its journey.
Similarly, when everything around me is changing in a very intense way,
The best place for me to seek shelter and refuge is not on the outside,
But deep within the self, where I can get in touch with my own inner being,
Find strength and stability,
Then come out and do whatever it is I need to.
I’m not their mother,
I care for them each day.
And read to them,
And watch them as they play.
I see each new accomplishment,
And help them grow and learn,
I understand their language,
I listen with concern.
They come to me for comfort,
And I kiss away their tears.
They proudly show their work to me,
I give the loudest cheers!
I am not their mother,
But my role is just as strong.
I nurture them and keep them safe,
Though maybe not for long.
I know someday the time may come,
When we will have to part,
But I know each child
I’ve cared for
Is forever in my heart!
Passage of Time
Oh, future time of mystery,
Where darkness lurks and shadows creep.
A pool of murky, eluded worlds,
Veiled behind the hidden sea.
Oh, future time which all will seek,
With heavy hearts we turn to thee.
The past, the present still to mourn,
What joys and sorrows do you keep?
Oh, righteous fate where do you lead?
We ride upon your gallant steed.
Within the boundaries of time and space,
You point us where we cannot see.
I love you without reason
I love you throught the seasons
Throught rain and shine
Blue skies and green trees and black seas
Nothing can keep me from you
I will travel to the ends of earth and back agin just for you
Our souls are entwined
Our hearts are already binded together
This is true love
This is forever love
The kind that comes only once in a life time
To infindy and beyond
To you and only you I give my heart
And my body
You have lighted a etenal f;lame
Just with you gentle words and kind spirit
You reached out to me in my hour of deepest need
For this i love you
My words cannot do justic to how much i love u
Ican’t express it with 26 letter
None with stars
I love u forever always beyond more most to infindy I love you

Though good times and bad
Though happy and sad,
Beside me you stand,
Beside me you walk,
You’re there to listen,
You’re there to talk,
With pain and tears,
I know you’ll be there,
Throughout the years!
I wrote this poem in 2006 shortly after we got married.
When your wife feels weak,
Be to her like a father.
When she cries,
Be to her like a Mother.
When she makes a mistake,
Be to her like a brother.
When she complains,
Be to her like a friend.
When she feels afraid,
Annex her in to your heart and be to her like a lover.
When she needs advice be to her like a sister.
And make her feel that you always with her
And Will not abandon her till death.
