Beyond Comprehension

No one hears me, understands me
I speak in silence
Hoping that someone will see my words,

My message
Hoping to find love, it has arrived so divine
I wish for a stronger, better life
filled with everlasting touch
I dream the future, but hold the past
My body is brimmed with so many confusions
Am I really here experiencing fullness?
I must be, the pain is so real
The hurt I feel could never be imagined
But I will pull through into greatness
And destroy whatever faces into me
As I struggle I will fight until the end
Whenever it may come

Broken Heart

Broken Heart

You broke my heart,
Tore it in two,
Then lied even more.

You broke my heart,
Said you still loved me,
Then went for my enemy.

You broke my heart,
Told me you liked her,
Then said you didn’t love me anymore.

You broke my heart,
I told you I still loved you,
Then you said you never loved me.

THE SIX PUNISHMENTS OF LIFE:

AYINGS (HADITH) OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam)
The one who disdains the prayers will receive Fifteen punishments from Allah.

Six punishments in this lifetime
Three while dying
Three in the grave &
Three on the Day of Judgment.

THE SIX PUNISHMENTS OF LIFE:
1. Allah takes away blessings from his age (makes his life misfortunate)
2.Allah does not accept his plea (Dua’s)
3.Allah erases the features of good people from his face.
4.He will be detested by all creatures on earth.
5.Allah does not award him for his good deeds. (No thawab)
6.He will not be included in th! e Dua’s of good people.

THE THREE PUNISHMENTS WHILE DYING:
1. He dies humiliated.
2. He dies hungry.
3. He dies thirsty. Even if he drinks the water of all seas he will still be thirsty.

THE THREE PUNISHMENTS IN THE GRAVE:
1. Allah tightens his grave until his chest ribs come over each other.
2. Allah pours on him fire with embers.
3. Allah sets on him a snake called “the brave”, “the bold” which hits Him
from morning until afternoon for leaving Fajr prayer, from the afternoon until Asr for leaving Dhuhr prayer and so on. With each strike he sinks 70 yards under the ground.

THE THREE PUNISHMENTS ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT:
1. Allah sends who would accompany him to hell pulling him on the face.
2. Allah gives him an angry look that makes the flesh of his face fall down.
3. Allah judges him strictly and orders him to be thrown in hell.

Fade To Black

You used to hear her mangled call
But now she’s hollow inside
Filled up with drugs and alcohol
And drained of all her pride

As good times always seem to fall,
And memories go out with the tide
Her cares and feelings grow so small
And her soul becomes fates bride

She tried to get ahead in life,
But now she’s lost her mind
She used to have a conscience
But dignity gone blind

She gave her whole life away
To those who can’t give back
And now she’s left with nothing
Stuck in a world that faded black
(this poem is about my sister)

Thoughts

Thoughts

I feel now that I want to die
I sweet know exactly why
I wonder now if I should even try
I want something perfect
I want something I almost had
now that I’ve lost it
I feel nothing but depression and anger
the only thing I wanted
was something I’ll never have
I want to forget
but there no way I can

I thought I was stronger
and thought my pain was over
I don’t know what to do
how to think
to make it all feel better
it’s all for the best

Shadow

Shadow

I am your shadow
You can hear my footsteps
Echoing softly behind you
Sometimes I may glance at your fiery eyes
evanescent…
But it’s rare that I’m ahead of you
I walk many steps behind
Because I’ve fallen
And no one was there to help me up
So I walk in humble silence
Ideally my footprint fits into yours
And lest you turn around
And throw a careless glance
At the earth that you tread upon
You won’t see any trace of my footprints
Because you’re too wrapped up
In your own thoughts; oblivious to me
One day my footsteps will overlap yours
And you’ll realize it
And you’ll be my shadow

Forever Not Yours

Forever Not Yours

Your presence graces my dreams
I reach for you as you drift away
Your stare is full of comfort, so peaceful
I find solace in your arms
I sit on the windowsill, writing
Anticipating your embrace, your soft smile
Yet I am jaded in your love
I am left behind in the dust
I cannot get up to run away
Your love shackles me, it’s a weight tied
So heavy around my ankles
It prevents me from running
But my acidic tears burn the shackles away
And I am free once again
I will not succumb to your sweet imprisonment
I will not surrender to your pacifying touch
I will not be enticed by your corrupting love
I will not be broken again

Torn

Torn

You gaze upon me blindly, not seeing the truth.
You see me for what I am not.
I am not like her.
The wings that held me up once were torn by emotion.
My eyes, amber velvet turned opaque green by tears.
My face, once radiant and smiling, now somber and wary by hatred.
This pain stamped an emotional burn upon my life.
Look at me; open your eyes to the sunshine that forever awaits.
A chained heart, sealed with eternal pain…
Breaking the shattered illusion where life was bliss.
Seeing the sun through the mist, through dark clouds…
Shackled forever to this misery, to this hatred.
Old wounds disturbed once again…

When I Woke Up

When I Woke Up
I woke up to an empty space
That place where I would see your face
The pillow cold, the covers neat
Our big old dog lay at my feet…
…waiting for me to get up.

I got up to an empty space
I made my coffee in the same old place
Your cup sits empty in the cupboard there
On the counter some breakfast we used to share…
…I cannot eat.

I walked out to an empty space
I drew a smile upon my face
But deep inside my heart would cry
Sometimes so bad I thought I’d die…
…and I do.
