Angry Girl

Angry Girl

A young girl stares up into a half shielded ceiling
She’s slightly chilled, frigid
With a mind racing through the surrounding darkness
Her eyes dart around insanely
But still she sees nothing
The heart, too
Is making its way through inexplicable hatred and rage
She’s streaming, She’s conscious
She visualizes and dies in her dreams
She thinks and she sees but just can not do
A young girl lies down on a flat hard bed
She’s familiar with fatigue
With a thought always forming out of her scarcity and dearth
Her body is not static
But constantly on the go
The fists, rebel yells too
Are keeping her story going through her mind
She’s battling, She’s striving
She claws and scratches at the imaginary
She tries and she prepares for reality

A Life Worth Saving

A Life Worth Saving

One moment of Laughter,
Innocense and trust,
Another moment later a blind jump into the unknown,
Into the water, into the deep end,
Unaware of the danger,
Unaware of the fear he should have had.
The next moment, one of relief,
one of love, of having saved my brother.
Truly a live worth saving.

Little Girl

Little Girl

Look at you, little girl
Dancing like a butterfly
Across the top of flowers
You spin across the floor
Look at you, little girl
Singing like a christian prayer
Highs and lows, sweet melody
You trill the words you know
Look at you, little girl
Face lit up like a christmas tree
A tinsel smile and candy cane lips
Your sparkling just for me
