In Despair

In Despair

There was a boy name Ray
He was just a wee boy
When his dad left home
Went off to rome
Because his wife was a Lesbian
She adopted two girls
With heads covered in curls
Sent Roy off to boarding school
He was so upset as he sat by the pool
Alone, unwanted, he felt life was cruel
He grew up, joined the navy
Sailed the sea, all sparkling and wavy
The best years of his life
Till he took himself a wife
She preferred the bottle to him
He coaxed and pleaded for her to give it up
And drink like a lady out of a cup
But no matter, how hard the implored
Day after day his words were ignored
So he took his own life, in despair
